Opening its doors for the first time over 32 years ago, Punch Line is the oldest and most recognized comedy club in San Francisco. Punch Line has helped launch the careers of many esteemed comedians. It makes sense, then, that Punch Line is known as the comedian's comedy club.

What also makes this club unique is its intimate atmosphere. Literally everyone in the house has a good seat, allowing for the comedians to interact with, and occasionally poke fun at, the crowd. Some comedians have even been known to show up unannounced for a quick set; others book well in advance giving you plenty of time to prep for a night of fun.

This intimate venue is the perfect place to get a first glimpse of tomorrow’s comedy greats each Sunday for the showcase. National Headliners have even been known to show up unannounced on occasion. Whoever you see, you can be sure you're going to have a hi-lar-i-ous time.
