It's that time of year again -- the seasons are shifting as summer leaves town on an autumn breeze. Change can be a good thing, and sometimes it can be great, as in the case of The Ridge Eat & Drink, a new neighborhood eatery that's soon to become your old favorite, when you pay $12 for $25 worth of food and non-alcoholic drinks. Seasoned Southern restauranteur Dave Horn created his first Birmingham favorite -- Mudtown -- in Cahaba Heights, which was so successful he expanded to Vestavia Hills, snatching up the space that used to be Tommy's Up Top. Stop in for lunch or dinner with menu items like a juicy burger with melty jalapeño pimento cheese, or try fish tacos with cabbage pico de gallo and spicy rémoulade sauce. Facebook fans are already decrying The Rige to be "pretty much the best food ever," so get in on the buzz.Want more? Check out The Ridge Eat & Drink on Facebook.
