Seasoned chefs Olina and Gino Nikolini showcase their culinary prowess as they demonstrate preparing a four-course Hellenic meal for groups of up to 40 nascent cooks, starting with a Greek-style soup. Gino and Olina proffer tips about healthy Greek cuisine as they chop fresh produce for a greek salad and deploy traditional recipes in the assembly of a chicken, lamb, or vegetarian entree flanked by an army of potatoes. The group gets a chance for hands-on creation to conclude the demonstration, whipping up a baklava parfait.
Gino and Olina keep the floor open for discussion throughout the session, patiently answering their audience’s questions regarding everything from Greek culinary practices to how fruits and vegetables really feel about one another. Since the session is BYOB, guests can bring along a beloved libation to accompany their consumption of the four-course feast.
Olina and Gino Nikolini, chefs and co-owners of Villa Nikolini by Organicity—where they dish out organic and healthy Greek cuisine—celebrate both their Greek heritage and their dedication to healthy eating via live cooking demonstrations held within their restaurant. The culinary partners illustrate their allegiance to organic ingredients as they slice and bake fresh produce into their healthful takes on traditional Mediterranean recipes. They ladle soups modified for a reduced fat content, bake desserts sweetened with honey, and brush organic potatoes in olive oil to show off their defined muscular physiques.
