Scout Notes: We hope you're feeling regal. Even if you're not, the team at Reflections have made it their goal to make you feel like it. "We want to treat everyone like a king," says Mark, and in his polished South African accent, it's easy to believe. But there's no need to ride in on a white horse or polish up your crown in order to get some stylin' frames, thanks to the range of pricetags on Reflection's shelves. You won't find any Dollar Store cheapies here, but you also don't have to shell out your rent money on your eyewear (though you certainly can, if that's what you're into). With recognizable names like Tory Burch, Ray-Ban, and more, you're well on your way to four eyed fame. Hipster frames from L.A. Fashionable, funky sunnies from Tory Burch and other buzzworthy brands, even glamorous shades from super-exclusive labels (you'll just have to go in to find out who): Reflections has it all. And they have more than just glasses, too: the Town Brookhaven optometrist shop also includes state-of-the-art 3D eye exam equipment, along with a one-year warranty on prescription glasses with no extra cost. And for likeminded people who have a small graveyard of eyeglass parts at the bottom of their bags, you'll understand exactly why this is a good thing. In all seriousness, Reflections is a perfect shop for eyewear shopping, an act that can often be quite overwhelming -- and rightly so. After all, it's an accessory you're wearing on your face. We can think of few other items that are featured so prominently on one's countenance, so it makes sense to be rather persnickety in the process. And thanks to their emphasis on service, Reflections is a fine place to do just that. You can spend your time vogueing in the mirror with designer sunglasses, doing your best Olympic athlete impersonation in the sportier shades, or practicing your 1960's intellectual look with some hornrims. Either way, there are plenty of looks (and personalities) to try on at Reflections. And anyway, who says you have to pick just one?
