An aesthetician layers the face in hydrating and cooling serums—customized to individual skin type and concerns—or uses a diamond- or crystal-tipped wand to gently exfoliate skin and gradually diminish scarring, wrinkles, and other pigmentation problems.

While working alongside a facial plastic surgeon, Kim saw day in and day out the desperate measures patients would take for beautiful skin.
