The Texas Brahmas Youth Hockey Association's Casino Night gathers philanthropic card sharks for an evening of shuffled decks and lucky breaks benefiting the association’s scholarship fund. Dealers distribute one-eyed jacks and two-eyed 7s in the Texas hold 'em tournament and sling cards till players hit 21 at the blackjack tables. Crowds can bet on red or black or remain impartial at the roulette table, try their hand at craps, or participate in a silent auction. The evening's biggest winner receives roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations for two to Las Vegas, and runners-up are rewarded with a host of goodies such as owner's suite seats and a $100 Zuroma food credit to a Texas Brahmas game, a recliner from Ashley Furniture HomeStore, and an IOU for a free hug from a Zamboni.

Leading up to the fundraiser, the Texas Brahmas face off against the Allen Americans at the Brahmas Arena at 6:15 p.m., giving ticket-holders an exciting hockey diversion and an excuse to wear thermal underwear.
