Technicians custom-blend dyes to match clients' natural coloring, place special stickers around the eyes to protect them from the dye, and then carefully apply it to upper and lower lashes or brow lines. The semipermanent dye penetrates the hairs for at least five minutes, and then is washed away to reveal darkened results, which typically last for three to five weeks.
