The Palms Golf Course, Bobs Farm, Port Stephens: Enjoy a round of 18 holes for two players with an electric golf cart, followed by a cold drink each in the bar of the club house. The Palms Golf Course is found at Bobs Farm just down the road from Nelson Bay, in a quiet rural location with a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere. The course is enjoyed by golfers from beginners to professional.

The golf course consists of challenging par threes and par fours with true greens and well-grassed fairways and surrounds. There’s also a fully licensed bar and light snacks, coffee, refreshments, barbecue facilities and cart hire. This is an easy walking course, never too crowded and always lots of fun no matter your handicap. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm.

Whale Watching at Port Stephens! Approximately 9,000 Humpback whales will pass Port Stephens on their northern migration between May and August and then as they head back south between August and mid November. More information here.

The Port Stephens – Nelson Bay region is an easy 2 and a half hour drive from Sydney (less than an hour from Newcastle), travelling north along the F3 Highway.
