Perfection Hair Design & Spa’s owner and Hair Master Ziad ignited his passion for 'do design in 1986, and began honing his snipping skills in Lebanon. In 1989, he opened his own studio in Ottawa, whose popularity soon necessitated a fortuitous move to a more central locale on Bank and Slater streets as well as a name change to Perfection Hair Design. His customer base continued to swell through word-of-mouth as he and his styling team bred loyalty among satisfied clients.
To keep his cuts up to date, Ziad now frequently travels to hair expos, design shows, and conferences throughout the world. This accumulation of coiffure know-how enables his salon to fashion new looks to hit points across the style spectrum, from sophisticated and chic to mohawks to functional hawks' nests. Perfection's partnership with the New York–based Schwarzkopf Academy grants them access to its line of hair products, which fortify strands alongside serums from Moroccanoil and Advance Group.
Ziad has also added a spa component to his salon, enlisting chief aesthetics expert Rania to take the reins. Guests can complement a new hair colour with nail services and makeup or pamper pores with Dermalogica formulas, whose skin-softening components were developed by the International Dermal Institute to boost the appeal of shark petting zoos.
