Head therapist Pitchapa Luelert received her massage training over ten years ago in her native Thailand, and she now shares the ancient tension-busting techniques at the relaxing Chiang Mai Spa in central Manchester. Beckoning in clients with an offering of jasmine tea, the team provide a traditional experience, with full body massages using herbs and oils sitting on the menu alongside foot spas and herbal compresses. Arriving ten minutes before their scheduled appointment time, clients can enjoy a complimentary jasmine tea or mineral water as they start their relaxation with a foot spa. They can then take their pick of a one hour traditional Thai massage, or massage using oils. Those opting for the oils can then take a further pick of either a herbal blend or a baby oil, with both working to send aches and tension scurrying for cover during 60 minutes of focussed attention.
