Tapas include wok-charred edamame ($5), sushi pizza ($15), thai spring rolls ($4), and coconut lemongrass mussels ($8). Specialty cocktails include the Geisha ($12), which mixes sparkling wine, vodka, yuzu, and pomegranate juice, or the lychee martini ($12) with Grey Goose vodka and lychee juice.

Inside the dining room of Jade Eatery & Lounge’s Forest Hill Gardens, votive candles cast their warm glow over exposed-brick walls, intimate tables, and a large Buddha statue. Executive chef Michael Teng draws on flavors from Japanese, Chinese, and Thai traditions to create fresh combinations of flavor, texture, and presentation. Staff show off virtuoso knife skills behind a full sushi bar, rolling and slicing a selection of classic and signature makis. After finishing dinner, guests can mosey over to the copper-fronted bar where sake, wine, and specialty drinks flow or contemplate the regularly rotating artwork or slowly rotating dinosaur skulls in the restaurant’s gallery.
