Headed by Chef Brian Scully, who has created a stir in many a high-end London restaurant, the newly renovated Nonna Rosa plates up fresh, authentic Italian food using seasonal ingredients. A menu of creamy pastas heavily punctuated with fresh seafood, and succulent meat dishes garnished with herbs, is rounded off by an extensive wine list. Summer evenings can be spent amid the European ambience of the roof terrace, while more cosy meals can be taken within the elegant dining room. 

Two guests will be treated to three courses of Italian cuisine in the comfort of the intimate eatery, as well as a cocktail to begin with, such as an apple Martini or raspberry Cosmopolitan (both £5.95). For starters, guests may opt for the Fritto Misto, a seafood platter of whitebait, prawns and squid with tartar sauce (£6.95); or the Portobello mushrooms stuffed with gorgonzola and pine nuts (£5.95). To follow, choices include the Chicken Milanese, served with spaghetti pomodoro and parmesan (£12.75); and the Sardinian fish stew, comprising mussels, prawns, clams and squid, flavoured with saffron and tomato, and added to fregola pasta (£15.95). To finish off, customers can indulge in the chocolate and hazelnut tart with pistachio ice-cream (£4.50).
