Taking to the scenic rivers of Hertfordshire and Essex like a particularly buoyant duck to water, Whoosh Explore Canoe Club instruct in a range of courses, along with scenic family paddles down a wealth of watery trails. Budding river explorers can enjoy a two and a half hour lesson, with individuals kitted out in kayaks or pairs sharing a two-person canoe. Experienced instructors impart knowledge in fundamental areas including entering and exiting the boat smoothly, forward and backward paddling, and building control and confidence.
